Computer scientist by discipline, marketer by instinct

I'm a Cognitive Systems: Computational Intelligence and Design student with a deep appreciation for data analysis and thoughtful design. My work spans interactive climate data visualizations in Python to self-hosting this site on a Linux LEMP stack.

When I'm not working on a project, you'll find me learning new frameworks, leading a university campus organization, or writing about my experience with new cultures.

Python Altair Data Visualisation

US Climate Phenomena

Interactive visualisation of 100 years of NOAA climate data across US weather stations. Analysed temperature, precipitation, and extreme weather trends to surface patterns in climate change over time.

Nginx Linux Google Analytics

Personal Namespace

Designed and self-hosted a personal website on a Hetzner VPS running a LEMP stack. Configured Nginx, SSL certificates, WordPress on a subdomain, and integrated GA4 for analytics tracking.

UBC Young Greens Club President

AMS @ UBC Vancouver

Created digital posts using Adobe Express and Canva; led to an independent freelance commission creating a digital event poster for a local organization. Partnered with a provincial party to co-host 3 events, coordinating logistics, designing digital promotional materials, and welcoming 30+ attendees per event.

Cognitive Systems: Cognitive Intelligence and Design Student

University of British Columbia

An interdisciplinary program composed of coursework on psychology, computer science, and data science. Obtaining working knowledge in machine learning, data visualization, and user experience.

Aquatic Instructor

City of Edmonton

Tailored activities for each student’s age and skill level, ranging from swimming comfort exercises for children to technical explanations for adults and seniors. Maintained accurate records such as report cards and attendance sheets to track student progress and aid teacher-to-parent communication in a clear, professional manner.
